We have built Shaws Catering slowly and carefully so that our attention would always be focused on our clients’ needs. Our custom BBQs add an attractive focal point to your party, and our flowing buffets keep guests smiling.

DETAILS

  • Meals are served buffet style to allow for a wider selection of foods. (portions suited to each person’s liking)
  • We provide all of the necessary disposable plates, cups, flatware, ice, serving utensils and condiments.
  • Prices are quoted per guest and are adjusted according to the number attending.
  • Children under the age of 10 are half the price of an adult.
  • Taxes are not included in the prices.
  • Reservations require a 25% deposit.
  • The remaining 75% is due 1 week prior to your function, when we finalize the last details.
  • Skirted buffet tables set up 1 hour before mealtime.
  • 1 hour serving time
  • 1 hour break-down time.

Deposit & Refund Policy

If you cancel 45 days prior to your event, you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel within 45 days of your event, a full refund is given as a credit towards another event…or…half of your deposit will be returned to you. Shaws will keep the other half to help cover staff and administration cost.

If you cancel within 7 days of your event there is NO refund.

Menu prices do not include our support fee

We do not make any decisions on our Support Fee until we really understand what you want to do and where you want us to do it. This means that our Support Fee cannot be priced until we have investigated your event site completely.

Our Support Fee can range between $500 to $2000, depending upon your needs.

Services Included in our Support Fee:

  • On site visit
  • Creating a time line
  • Extended travel time (over 1 hour)
  • Early set up prior to guest arrival
  • Special BBQ set up (day before, location logistics)
  • Extended breakdown time due to speeches
  • Extra staffing needs
  • Serving your appetizers or dessert (wedding cake)
  • Setting up of tables, chairs, linens
  • Setting tables cutlery, stemware, napkins, center pieces, salt and pepper
  • Filling water pitchers and or goblets
  • Corking wine bottles and placement on tables (bartenders are usually busy prior to meal)
  • Moving chairs back into tent after ceremony
  • Clearing tables, scraping dishes, packing dishes
  • Time period requested for clearing glasses
  • Removal of excess trash other then meal (bar cups, wine bottles)

This is not a gratuity, it is payment for extra service.
